Volunteers Ready Day And Night
All members of the Fairfield Fire Department are volunteers. Of our active firefighters, there are business owners, paramedics, county officials, pastors, and others with many other responsibilities. If you would like to join and serve Fairfield and Freestone County, join the business meetings (Open to the Public) every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Our firefighters tirelessly work to prevent and control fires, risking their lives to rescue and protect the people and property of Freestone County. They undergo extensive training in fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials handling, first aid, and communication skills. The Fairfield firefighters are essential members of our communities, providing critical services and support to keep us safe and secure.
